What major things did the daughters of liberty do?

The Daughters of Liberty refused to buy British goods, including cloth and tea. In substitute, they dried raspberry leaves to make tea and used their traditional skills to spin yarn and weave cloth called "homespun." From these materials they made clothes and other necessary things that they needed, therefore making a competitive industry to the British merchants. They helped influence the Revolutionary War by helping the men in battle and reminding the men in charge to "remember the ladies" when they formed a new country. They did not do much during the actual war, but they remain a great part of America's history.
