Being able to trust one another is one of the many characteristics that make a good friend.
A good friend is someone who is always there for you in times of need and just to hang out with. I hate people who pretend to be your friend and just ditch you because he/she finds out he/she does not like you or just befriends you to get something. I think a friend should be nice, funny, comforting and someone who's just basically fun to be around, (if it's a boy, sporty or loves computer games) A friend should be someone who would stick beside you, help you out and defend you against other people that are being mean to you. Someone you know you can absolutely trust with secrets and taking care of stuff for you. But getting that perfect friend would probably be 1/100 but you never know. If a friend is pissed off at you, offer a present or just try saying sorry.
You really shouldn't have to offer a present to a friend to make them forgive you. A friend should be forgiving no matter what. Also, a good friend should be supportive. If you play a sport or something and all your friend can say about it is, "I hate that sport" you might want to re-think this friendship.

There can be hundreds of students at a game which makes it like a social event ... the students can show their school pride at a basketball game. They can be with their friends and meet new friends. Playing on a basketball team helps a student learn teamwork and discipline.
What does it mean when your enemies want to befriend your friends?
When you have piers that you do not necessarily get along with and they are trying to become friends with your friends in my opinion they are up to no good. I had a situation like this one where I did not get along with two of my piers at school and we where not on speaking terms and my other friends knew that but still talked to them and I realized they are 1 not good friends and 2 the girls trying to take my friends had no friends and had to talk to my friends to kind of cling on to me in a way. I hope that makes sense and helps. Unfortunately there are malicious people out there who have no mercy and in times like those you can only trust family:) good luck we all go through it.
