Check your anti-freeze level, and it wouldn't hurt to replace the thermostat, with a say...185 degree or a 160, the 160 will not make your heater very hot, but it will make the engine run better, I would go with what you take out of it, has what temp it opens stamped on the rim, or better yet, manual :)
A flush kit would be ideal bud.
Any parts store can help you get what you want.

Chevy Caprice had the digital dash installed from 1994 and up, but if you have an older model you can still get the digital dash.
No, 1973 was the last year for the Caprice 2-door hardtop..................................................... False i have a 1974 caprice classic 2 door hard top they wew still produced but also had alot of conv. also
If you get a Caprice with posi they aren't to bad in bad conditions, but they are still a car and not equipped with 4 wheel drive. Chevy Caprice's had decent ground clearance comppared to other cars though which could perhaps allow them to travel through muddier conditions.
Some parts can be found for older vehicles, like the 1978 Chevy Caprice Classic, at salvage yards. Some parts for older cars are also still being manufactured, so they might also be available at automotive parts stores.
The 1977 Chevy Caprice with a 350 had 170 h.p. and I think you will find that the police package car had the same h.p, but I am not 100% sure. The police package included handling and cooling upgrades but I think that it still only had 170 h.p.
Blower motor switch. Put it on High and it will blow when sitting still with the engine running.

Sitting Still was created in 1981.

Yes, Chevy still makes Silverado trucks. The base model WT starts at around $20,000. The most powerful model, the 3500HD starts at around $30,000.
weak spark or plugged fuel lines Did you change the fuel filter?
The Chevy Impala (which closed out in 1996 along with sister Caprice) replaced the Lumina in 2001. Although it was assopsed to replace it in 2000 Chevy decided to keep it 1 more year. That final year sales plunged down to half of the previous. THEY STILL MAKE LUMINAS! But not in north america.
