What makeup should a strawberry blonde 13 year old girl with blue-green eyes and tons of freckles wear?

Well since you have blond hair, you really don't need to put a lot on. Especially since your 13 and your makeup should look natural. You really don't need foundation but if you feel it is nessesarry and you will die without it, use one that adjust to all color skin. Try and srick to a really light shade of gloss, just use it to brighten your face. As for the lips, just use lipgloss or a light pink lipstick that makes your lips glossy (don't use to much, you don't wanna look like a clown) I suggest not to use eye-liner at this age, you WILL look like a hooker or like if your on drugz. Eye-shadow colors, don't go with anything to dark and try to go for the opposite color of your eyes which would be yellow or blue (light blue). Don't put it over the crease of your eye, just put it on the eye-lid. I am twelve years old, with blonde hair and blue eyes, so I know some good tips for makeup.

For mascara, I recommened Covergirl exact eyelights for blue eyes, which can be found at Walmart. i usually apply one coat on the top lashes. but you can apply some on the bottom lashes, too. For eyeshadow, I recommened a lilac or lavender shade, which can really bring out your eyes. And, you can mix colours! i sometimes mix light blue and grey, and all my friends say my eyes look gorgeous when i do. I don't use eyeliner, but if you do, go with Covergirl Exact eyelights eyeliner for blue eyes. I wouldn't use liquid, because it's extremely hard to remove. I wouldn't use blush just yet, but if you want to wear lip gloss, definatley go for lip smackers. They come in great flavours, and make your lips look really nice.

I usually do the makeup in this order:

(Use eyeliner before eyeshadow, but usually 13 year olds don't need it.)

Eyeshadow

Mascara

Lip gloss

And some days, if you want a natual look, maybe just a coat of lip gloss is enough!

I may not have the same color hair as you do, but I have green eyes too.

Eye shadow. It depends on your skin color, but If you have fair skin, try pink eye shadow, or something light and delicate. If you have medium skin (not brown, and not white like me) then try darker pinks (not too dark!!!) and browns. Like chocolates. And for brown skin, then try dark chocolates. The point is something not too different from your natural skin color.

The basic thing is if you want a natural look (which is better in my opinion) try to stay close but a little darker than your skin color.

It depends on your eye color.

Someone with brown eyes can wear any shade of eye shadow but since you're so young, I would do something fairly neutral and I wouldn't use more than two shades. I'm using Maybelline's website for this.

First, try Earthly Taupe from your lashline to your crease (called the lid), and Cinnamon Spice above the crease (called the brow).

Then try Seashell on your lid and Lux Lilac on your brow.

Don't wear this to school, but Blue Blazes on your lid and Amethyst on your brow would look great at a party.

Lipstick in Rosy Glow or Peach Colada will balance out the look. Also try Burt's Bees in Caramel--their stuff doesn't add a lot of color, so you might like it better.

Any eyeshadow besides blue. Blue eyed girls can wear anything from deep greens to purples the best is brown and bronze colored eyeshadows. They make blue eyes pop!

Avoid pink blush if you have pink or red undertones, it only makes you look sunburned. Choose something in a natural brown color *look for "sable" as a color name* to bring out your cheekbones and shape your face. If you have golden or yellow undertones, you will do well with a light plum or pink shade.

Fair skinned girls look great with a tinted lip gloss for a natural look and are known for looking smashing in red lipstick for an evening look. You're lucky! I wish I could wear red!

I'd say mascara and lipgloss are the basics, so maybe that if you don't normally wear any make-up at all right now. You could wear foundation or eyeliner or something too if you want:) Also at weekends you could wear blue eyeshadow because it makes blue eyes look even bluer:)

Try a really dark blue eyeshadow. Try a rosey red blush and dark mascara. And try a nude color lipstick.
