Whilst most of the commonly known marsupials such as kangaroos, koalas, wallabies and wombats are herbivorous, there is a large group of carnivorous marsupials, known as Dasyurids. The dasyurid marsupials include the Tasmanian Devil, Quoll (various species), and marsupial mice including the Dunnart, Phascogale and Antechinus.
The Thylacine (also known as the Tasmanian Tiger), extinct since 1936, was also carnivorous.
Most marsupials are herbivores, and some are omnivores, such as the bilby and bandicoot, obtaining protein from insects and larvae. There is a group of carnivorous marsupials known as the dasyurids, which includes creatures such as the Tasmanian Devil and quolls, and many smaller kangaroo species such as the antechinus, dunnart and planigale.
Marsupial frogs, which are not marsupials at all, but small amphibians, feed primarily on insects such as beetles, and other invertebrates.

Some marsupials are carnivores.Whilst many marsupials come under the heading of herbivores, e.g. kangaroos, wombats, wallabies or omnivores e.g. possums, bilbies, bandicoots, etc., there is a group of carnivorous marsupials known as the dasyurids. This group includes the Tasmanian devil, quoll, planigale and the now-extinct Thylacine, or Tasmanian tiger.

Very small joeys live exclusively on their mother's milk. After several months, the joey begins to be gradually introduced to vegetation, depending on the species of joey. Not all joeys refer to kangaroos. it is the common name for all young marsupials, and some marsupials, such as Tasmanian devils, are carnivorous. Such joeys will begin to eat meat as they start to wean off mothers' milk.
If they just eat meat then yes. If they eat meat and plants then they are omnivores == No. If an animal eats mostly meat it is a Carnivore. A herbivore can also eat meat, but the primary diet will be plants. Herbivores and Omnivores can also eat meat.
