All submarines were built from steel. Except Bushnell's Turtle in 1776, that was made of wood & leather.
WW1 Submarines were made of steel.
imported raw materials and made them into finished goods for export
some of it did but it was made of brick and stone there materials are both very strong
Germany had hundreds of different weapons in World War 2. They were made using standard processes including assembly lines, forging, casting and machining. One of Germany's weaknesses was the lack of raw materials, one of the reasons they invaded the Rhineland early in the war.
Aprox 65,000 + a great more were injured during production of war materials.
During World War II, the entry of Japan into the conflict made things worse for the Allies in numerous ways. The additional losses of lives and materials, the need to defend, capture, or recapture additional territory, the threat to sources of important raw materials, and many other additional challenges all came with Japan's aggressive participation in the war on the side of the Axis.
The submarines attacked Pearl Harbor
because of the alliances the US had made previous to the start of the war along with the threat of the German Uboats attacking US civilians and property.
It sank up to 2,779 ships in world war 2
The Germans then threatened to use only Uboats for war and blew up a few ships.
recycling made production of war materials easier and cheaper
Well the world war 2 memorial is made from stone , the stars on the other hand are made from bronze metal, and their may be many more materials.
Uboats were made to attack and sink merchant ships carrying supplies to Great Britain. Germany knew if they managed to cut Britain's supplies off then they would be unable to continue the war. They did this by launching torpedos which blew holes in enemy ships under the waterline, causing them to take on water and sink. As the war progressed, more and more were built to combat military ships as well as merchant vessels. Hope this helps.
Nylon was used to make materials in the war such as parachutes and ropes.
