stands a chance to be the cam if its a knocking noise or it might just be the alternator...the bearings go dry & need changing!! but its hard to get to!! could be cambelt tensioner and rollers water pump or lack of oil first two could cause catastrophic engine loss if left Could also be a blowing Exhaust manifold gasket, or cracked exhaust manifold. "noisy engine" can be caused by "many things".
