It doesn't snow in Jamaica at all. However, I heard it once snowed in Blue Mountains long time ago when the time was cooler.

In Ottawa, Canada the winters can vary just like everywhere else but generally the winter months with snow on the ground are from mid December until early April. Although with climate change, etc. it can vary quite a bit. Winters are becoming more mild generally with less snow then in the past.
In the North Island there are two mountains which because of their height, have some permanent snow, Mt Egmont, and Mt Ruapehu. In the South Island there are many chains of 'permanent snow' mountains. Too many individual mounts to mention. In winter we have snow, occasionally to sea level in the South, for the latitude goes up to about 47o. Naturally our seasons are six months out of sync with the Northern Hemisphere.
