The mountain depicted on the Paramount Pictures logo isn't real.
Legend has it that the mountain is based on a doodle made by W. W. Hodkinson during a meeting with Adolph Zukor. It is said to be based on the memories of his childhood in Utah. Some claim that Utah's Ben Lomond is the mountain Hodkinson doodled, and that Peru's Artesonraju is the mountain in the live-action logo.
I don't agree. The mountain in the Paramount Pictures logo is real and it is located in Peru's Cordillera Blanca. The name is: Artesonraju.6,025 m (19,767 ft).

Unfortunately, it is not known as to why Paramount Pictures lost two stars on their logo. Currently, however, it is said that they have 22 stars on their Logo.

Some editions of the logo bear a striking resemblance to the Pfeifferhorn, another Wasatch Range peak.

It's not real. They just made it for Nickelodeon, and Viacom. It's not really a mountain, just a logo for movies.
