He also attended Columbia University 1981 - 1983 and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree with a specialty in International Relations. He attended Harvard Law School 1988 - 1991, where he served as editor of the Harvard Law Review, and graduated with a Juris Doctor degree (more prestigious than a Bachelor of Laws) magna cum laude in 1991. Occidental College, which he attended 1979 - 1981 confirmed he registered as Barack Obama. Columbia University confirmed he was registered as Barack Obama and has made available an article he published in the 3/10/1983 edition of Sundial, Columbia's weekly news magazine, using the name Barack Obama. Harvard has confirmed that he was registered as Barack Obama and served as the editor of the Harvard Law Review using his name, Barack Obama. He may have used the nickname Barry socially, but officially he has been Barack Obama.
