According to Honda's website the standard Civic models did not start using a timing chain until 2006 with the exception of the SI models which were a different engine and have always had a timing chain. But PRIOR to 2006 all the other civic models had timing belts (which have to be replaced to be replaced periodically).

and your question is what??
Camshaft sensor needs to be replaced... for the 2001 Honda Civic, there has been a TSB released saying certain vehicles with certain VINs need to have their cylinder head replaced... Google it.
it sounds kind of weird, but i have a 99 si and it won't run the compressor unless there's a certain pressure in the system, and you can't get pressure in the system cause the compressor won't work. i was thinking of getting a jumper wire and running it to the compressor so it stays engaged-
Before changing the power steering pump on a 2001 Honda Civic drain all the fluid in the system. The pump is located in the front of the engine. Remove the belt first than the pump. Unplug all hoses that travel to it and replace the unit. Once replaced flush the power steering system.
