What negative consequences come from drug abuse?

Once drug "use" becomes "abuse" it has taken over the person's life to the extent that it interferes with every aspect of living. Negative consequences include: 1) job loss due to poor job performance, excessive absences and lateness 2) divorce or lost relationships because the drug is more important than the people in your life and you will lie to them, cheat on them, ignore them for the drugs. 3) Loss of material possessions because of money needed to buy more drugs. 4) Loss of dignity because of how low you wsll sink to obtain and do the drugs. 5) eventual loss of health because ANY drug is bad for you once it is abused. 6) Death - ALONE - because if you don't wake up once you hit the bottom and get help you will have burned through every family and friend relationship you ever had trying to keep doing the drugs.
