every pump/manufacturer is different.
simple answer: whatever fuse came with the car in that spot
if you don't have the fuse (i.e. it was removed for whatever reason) look at the diagram for your fusebox on the fusebox itself or in your owners manual
if that is unavailable get the repair manual for the car (look at it in a parts store or go to public library) and see diagrams for fusebox (if they are not online for free already)

There was never a fuse for a water pump in a 1970 mustang. They used a mechanical pump
no, it doesn't. If your fuel pump has failed, check the fuse box under the bonnet. You will find a fuse for the fuel pump in there. If the fuel pump still doesn't work then you are up for another pump. I do know that they are very expensive but i just used a second hand pump from a younger model & it works fine.
Yes, and it's the same fuse that's used for your wipers. So, if your wipers still work, but the washer fluid pump doesn't, there's likely a problem with the pump and not the fuse.
it is in the fuse block and is used to protect the fuel pump and wiring to the fuel pump from being overloaded and melting or catching fire by detecting to much current and blowing (melting) before the wire harness or pump does.
It does not have an Inertia switch, Only for used them. You will need to remove the fuel pump relay or fuel pump fuse to shut the fuel pump off.
"Radio" or "rad" can be used, or you can find a number. If there is a number of the radio fuse, the manual or the fuse box cover to find the labeling.
30amp fuse is used
The fuse is under the hood, marked rdo almost centered in fuse box.
If it was run while dry it sounds like it may be that the fuse for the pump blew. Check your owners manual for the fuse location and check. If not the fuse you MAY have burned out the pump motor.
Chevy did not use a reset button, Only ford used them. If you have no fuel pressure, then you need to check the fuel pump FUSE and RELAY.
Hi, The fuel pump is located inside the fuel tank, and is mounted from the top of the tank. If it is not coming on, a bit of troubleshooting is needed. I would start at the fuel pump relay, which is located in the under hood fuse box. I have included a link that shows a picture of that fuse box, and tells you what each fuse and relay is used for. Just scroll down the page until you see that fuse box. Good Luck, Greg
It does not have a reset switch. Ford is the only one that used it. You need to check the fuel pump relay or fuel pump fuse. May just have a bad fuel pump.
