Muscles are made up by thousands of fibbers that can contract
As muscles contract then relax they move the bones and limbs at the joint
Muscles also work in pairs
When one muscle contract the other muscle controls the opposite action will need to relax

impulses are sent to muscles at joints which causes them to contract, when these muscles contract, as they are connected to bones, they pull on the bone which causes movement. e.g. an impulse is sent to your bicep causing it to contract, this then pulls on the top of your forearm bones bending your arm
Injury or disease can occur in joints. This disease is known as osteoarthritis. It is a joint disorder.
The sternoclavicular joint is a joint which does not move. This is the area of cartilage which joins the clavicle (or collar bone) to the sternum (or breast bone).
to move
the joint stops the bone from breaking and allows it to move.
joint
It is a fixated bone with no joint.
Joint. A muscle must cross a joint to move the insertionbone relative to the bone of origin. For example, the biceps spanning the elbow joint and the quadriceps spanning the knee joint.
Two muscles are not needed to move a joint but a bone attached to a joint in 2 opposite directions .
A gliding joint is one that moves back and forth and allows the bone to move::) har.har

A slightly moveable joint is a fixed bone that can only move a little or slightly.
a bone that is fixed by tissue so cant move
ball and socket joints
