The Order of Magellan.
1. Because a conqueror named Ferdinand Magellan and his 350 men with their ships were led in the Philippines and it is because they only rely on the wind direction. 2. Instead of finding the island of moluccas in indonesia,(also known as island of spices) they were led by the direction of the wind to northwest. 3. Because the spaniards wanted to conquer more lands than Portuguese conquerors. 4. Because the Philippines has also full of natural resources which can be used by people. 5. In order to make Philippines have a Catholic Life.
The ships went through a strait.
Magellan was originally from Portugal, but later obtained Spanish nationality in order to serve king Charles I of Spain in search of a westward route to the "Spice Islands", which led to his circumnavigation of the world.
On the morning of 27 April 1521, Magellan sailed to Mactan with a small attack force in order to wage battle with the enemies of his Phillipine contacts. During the resulting battle against Lapu-Lapu's troops, Magellan was hit by a bamboo spear and later surrounded and finished off with other weapons.
Grey Friar is the name given by the laity to the Friars of the Franciscan order. The name derives from the original color of the habit and was used to distinguish the Grey Friars from the White Friars (Carmelites) and Black Friars (Dominicans aka Order of Preachers).

Order of Friars Minor--WIKIPEDIA
Ok
The is no such thing as a "Franciscan Order of monks." Monks are monks: Benedictines, Cisterisans, etc. Franciscans are friars, and they were founded by St. Francis of Assisi, who founded his Order in Assisi.
Francis created an order of friars, not monks. Friars work in the world while monks are confined to a monastery. He created the order to help him evangelize, assist the poor and reform the Church.

The Order of Friars Minor
The Franciscan Order. However, they are not monks, they are friars. Monks live in a monastery and work there, friars live in a convent or friary and work in the "real world."
Francis established the Order of Friars Minor - the beginning of the Franciscan order.
Francis called his order the Friars Minor. Today they are known as the Franciscans.
