Will natsume and mikan be together at last?
Well, there is a high chance that they will be together. On a particular chapter's design, the author drew Mikan and Natsume holding hands and wrote " The Fated Couple " on it. So they should be together.

Most likely it will be NAtsume and Mikan, Hotaru and Ruka. not Mikan and Ruka I agree with whoever wrote this! In the last several chapters, not only does Mikan and Natsume tell each other that they like one another, but Higuchi announes it in the 'relationships' box. If ya look, it says that Ruka likes Mikan 'a bit', and that Natsume and Mikan 'like each other'. Plus, the author draws a chapter page showing Mikan and Natsume looking at each other, holding hands, and the caption says: "Mikan and Natsume, the fated pair". So, no, Ruka and Mikan don't stay together. If Hotaru doesn't go for Prez, then she and Ruka will end up falling for each other.

What happens in Gakuen Alice volume 5?
Ch.24-23-The somatic abilities class is putting on a play. It's a mix between snow white and sleeping beauty. Koko and Kitsuneme bring sticky balls in with them back stage. Long story short, the sticky balls make almost the entire cast stick together, making them unable to perform in the play. Other people who weren't stuck were forced to take over for the missing cast. Mikan stepped in for the lead part of the prince and Natsume was added as the cat in the forest! Naru ends up changing the play about half way through and the new cast is forced to improvise. At the end, Naru has a student write on a cue card that the Prince (Mikan) has to kiss Snow White (Luca) on the lips. Just when they were about to kiss, Natsume -out of jealousy- threw an eraser at Mikan's head.Ch.25- Mikan and her friends watch the alice parade during the last day of the festival. Afterwards is the award ceremony. The technical class wins the biggest award for their attractions. Hotaru wins the rookie award and The Special abilties class wins the Special award. While everyone is walking out, Naru finds Mikan and gives her a letter from her grandfather. Mikan is ecstatic, she even sleeps with the letter.Ch.26-We learn about the last dance in this chapter. The chapter starts with a bunch of girls asking Natsume and Luca to dance with them during the last dance. People start accusing Mikan and Luca that they might dance together since they "kissed" during the play. Mikan freaks out. (in the anime Mikan, Nonoko, and Anna-chan all watch. Mikan asks what the Last Dance is. They explain how when a boy excepts the girls last dance request, the two will fall in love and go out. Mikan clearly is confused and wonders about love.) That night, they all go to the dance and find Tsubasa and Misaki. They explain to mikan about the last dance and comment on everyone's costumes. Mikan walks off to dance and Natsume notices Luca staring at Mikan. He shoves Luca into Mikan forcing them to dance with each other. When they dance, they both seemed to be trying their hardest. They both dance with smiles on their faces. When its over Hotaru tells Luca how dense Mikan is, causing him to blush. He then is instructed to go get Hotaru cake. Mikan dances with other people (Naru, Yuri-senpai, Prez, and the "stretchy guy") Mikan then finds natsume, and he appears to be holding a grudge for when Mikan said that she wouldn't dance with Natsume. He then asks another girl to dance, whilst he glares at Mikan. Mikan being left in a bad mood goes to the bathroom. On her way back she runs into natsume. Natsume starts the conversation saying how "It's all so stupid." Mikan is clearly confused. Natsume explains how things like the alice festival never had anything to do with people like him. Natsume tells Mikan that she had better not get in over her head in darkness and that she should stay in the light. Natsume probably realized what he was saying and told Mikan to go away using the word Ugly. Mikan, being sensitive to ugly where ever she goes, freaks out at him. She nags natsume to call her by her first name, so he does (with any honorifics) and it shocks her. As a third command, natsume tells Mikan not to complain about what he calls her. The chapter closes off with Hotaru asking Mikan to dance with her for the last dance.Ch.27~The chapter starts off with Naru telling his class that they will be having exams. Iichou explains that you get a months worth of shopping coupons for central town, a special certificate, and a week trip back home. Mikan decides to study with Iinchou and Luca. They test Mikan to see what she knows and she doesn't know anything. Mikan looks at Natsume and his eyes seem to be insulting her, calling her stupid. Mikan discovering that her classmates aren't going to be of any help, she goes to her favorite senpai. Tsubasa isn't much help either, by only discouraging her a little. She asks Nodachi about it, but everything he tells her is different then the textbook, which isn't going to help at all. Tsubasa tells her to focus on one subject and to be clever. Mikan gets determined and asks her classmates for help. They end up all working together while they study. Then, people start asking Natsume, and he joins too. Test day comes and Naru's test is having the class write a love letter to him. Misaki's test has each student working under the the supervision of a cactus that shoots you with needles if you cheat by using your alice. After the tests, everyone compares answers. Persona see's Natsume walking alongside Mikan. The next exam is the cooking exam. One of the students catches something on fire and the teacher uses his hair alice to get the extinguisher to the fire. The next test is being given out by Persona. Natsume is shocked that he's there. Persona seeing Natsume's surprise smirks in pleasure. At the end of the test, Mikan cries because her best wasn't quite enough, causing Hotaru to comfort her. Natsume then confronts Persona, asking him about what was that all about. Persona comments on how Natsume's eyes lost the wildness they used to have. He says that the reason behind that could be because of Mikan. The chapter closes with Persona threatening Natsume to be careful. Obviously this means that if he doesn't act wisely, Mikan might get hurt.Ch.28~ This chapter starts off with Mikan crying because she had the lowest grades. While she's walking, she encounters a bunch of stuffed animals carrying a bucket of water to their master. They ask Mikan to help them by carrying the bucket for them. This is the first time Mikan encounters Kaname. Seeing the situation (Kaname needed water for his meds) Mikan buys him a bottled water. It turns out that Kaname is Tsubasa's best friend who made bear. He had been hospitalized for a while. When they go to visit bear, it is disclosed that Kaname and Bear are very VERY close. They go inside for snacks and tea and a bunch of girls come. Apparently, Kaname had made the stuffed animals that were getting water and gave them to the girls. Kaname goes to get water at the well, because the cabin doesn't have plumbing so the girls put in plumbing. While cleaning dishes, Tsubasa tells Mikan that Kaname has the Alice Shape that takes away life. On top of that Kaname has a weak body. The next couple days, Kaname isn't in class because he got a fever from partying too much. Mikan starts to think about Kanames alice shape and her mind wonders off to Natsume. She notices how he has been ignoring her. Meanwhile, that night, Tsubasa visits Kanames dorm and they talk for a while. Tsubasa notices flowers on Kaname's window sill. Meanwhile, everyone talks about how they had seen a human soul. They send Mikan and Hotaru (who tags along) to see what it was. They find out that it wasn't a ghost, in fact it was bear. Kaname waits by his window for bear and Mikan discovers why Bear has a soft spot for Kaname. The setting changes to Natsume, who's in his dorm clutching his chest. Theres a bag of pills beside him. The chapters ends with Kaname going back to the hospital and Mikan declaring that she is going to become friends with bear!Hope this helped! What happens in chapter 65 of gakuen alice?
The chapter starts off with Natsume saying that he started the huge fire that happened in his village, leaving everyone with shocked expressions on their faces. Luca continues telling his story to Mikan and Hotaru, saying how natsume wanted to protect everyone important to him, which is why he blamed Aoi getting hurt and the huge arson thing in his village on himself. Natsume finds out that his father went to look for natsume and the children, receiving a few minor injuries. But before Natsume can be relieved, he is also told that he may visit him, but it would be the last time he would see his father before heading off to the academy. Natsume agrees to go to the academy when they reassure him that his sister will be kept safe under the care of the academy. But in order to ensure the safety of Aoi and Mr.Hyuuga, Natsume wouldn't be allowed to have any contact with his family. The next set of events involve the towns people treating and blaming natsume for the fire, which include them throwing a book at him. Luca tries to help Natsume, only to be pushed away by the fire caster. People were starting to think that Luca was an accomplice of Natsume's, so Natsume made sure that he made it clear that Luca wasn't part of the fire. This is the first time the readers (and even Luca) see that terrible frown on Natsume's face. Luca decides without natsume knowing, that he is going to the academy with Natsume. Mrs.Nogi cries, but agrees that Luca going to the academy would be the best thing for Luca and for Natsume. When they bring Natsume out to the car to be taken away, Natsume sits down to a smiling Luca, who greets him with "good morning!" Luca explains that going with Natsume to the academy was his decision. As the car starts, Natsume's dad bursts out of the hospital screaming for Natsume, suddenly causing him to fall over. Natsume, not seeming to be able to take it any longer turns around and starts to cry. Luca notices natsumes tears and says that he'll become stronger so that the both of them can return home together. The flashback ends and the scene turns back to Luca, Mikan, and Hotaru. He talks about Natsume's missions and how Natsume has to do them in order for Aoi to be safe. And also, he notices how every time natsume comes back in pain from a mission, his star ranking would increase. This seems to be the first time that Mikan sees the more unpleasent side of the academy. She starts screaming about how horrible the academy is. Seeming to have taken Mikan's words to heart, Hotaru decides that it would be best to go and find natsume....And that's how the chapter ends! Hope this helped :)

Volume Twelve starts with Chapter 65 and ends with Chapter 70.65. This chapter starts with Ruka continuing and finishing off the story of how him and Natsume met. The last chapter, Natsume's town caught on fire because of his sister Aoi's Alice. Natsume doesn't want Aoi to get blamed and cruelly punished, so Natsume takes the blame. Natsume also sees his father for the last time in a very long time. Persona is seen talking to Aoi, and it seems she has lost her memories. In the meantime, Ruka's mother shows up to the Hospital and this is when people start snapping at Natsume for the town burning down. Ruka tries to defend him, but Natsume pushes him away in an effort to make it look like Ruka wasn't involved in the mass fire. Academy officials take Natsume away, and Ruka decides that his place is with Natsume. When Natsume gets in the car the next morning to go the academy, Ruka is already there waiting for him. The two of them mutually agree to go to the academy together, but then suddenly, Natsume's father bursts out of the hospital. He calls out Natsume's name and falls over. It's really then that Natsume finally breaks down and cries silently. Ruka is shocked to see this and promises Natsume that he will become strong so they can leave the academy together. As Ruka finishes up the story, he explains Aoi's placement and how his and Natsume's star ranking keep going up as Natsume does missions. Mikan then becomes extremely frustrated at the school for treating the Hyuugas like that. So then Ruka, Mikan, and Hotaru decide to find Natsume in the Labyrinth beneath the Hana-Hime Den.66.Mikan and her friends, Hotaru and Ruka have stopped. The hall splits into three hallways. They finally decide to each take a path but Ruka is worried about this. Mikan and Hotaru then ask if Ruka was scared but he replied, "I...I am NOT scared!". Mikan and Hotaru said, "Really, Ru-chan?" Hotaru then told everyone that if they found Natsume, contact the others using the panda headphones. Mikan walks down the stairs and seems to be a little tired/scared. Mikan sees something like a cage and thought she saw someone. Mikan takes a look around and then a hand taps her. She finds Aoi, Natsume's sister, in a dark passage and Aoi seems to have lost some of her memory and talks about Persona in a a fond way, saying he is misunderstood and her only friend. Later, when Mikan reunites with the group, the group feels as if everything around them is cold. Nobara is the creating the cold, but then seeing Mikan, starts crying and saying that she doesn't want Mikan to see her like this and runs away.67.Misaki and Tono are near the Flower Palace. Tsubasa told Misaki to call Tono for some help. Tono isn't really happy about this. They then see Nobara on the ground. Misaki asks Nobara where is Tsubasa and also Mikan and the others. Nobara says that Mikan and the others have seen her in her other side. She thought Mikan was a really great person or something and thought that Mikan would help her but now, she feels like she doesn't deserve to even be with Mikan. She asks Misaki and Tono to help Mikan.68. Tsubasa and Youichi have finally got rid of Rui and Hayate. Youichi used his Alice and so did Tsubasa. Youichi used his ghosts to scare and hold a lamp around Rui and Hayate while Tsubasa made them freeze for 3 hours.They have a feeling that something bad is happening. They must go to Mikan quicky!Everyone screams Mikan's name. Mikan tell them not to come near her. Mikan thinks that her "black stuff" will spread to the others if they come to close. Persona tells her that it won't spread. Mikan then tells Persona that she won't lose no matter what. Even if she dies. She tells everyone to run. Everyone could not believe it. Mikan says that it's okay for her to die since it's only one person. She wants everyone to be safe. Aoi starts to think..she couldn't believe how Persona is acting. Mikan keeps saying how she won't lose and that she won't let him hurt her friends. Aoi then steps up. She asks Persona to stop. Persona tells her to go away. Persona then goes really really mad and tells her to get out of his sight. He then uses his Alice on her but Mikan took the hit instand of Aoi. Mikan Pushes Persona and thinking, I won't let you hurt other people anymore!69. Mikan and her friends are finally out of the place. They meet up with Tono. Tono hears that Persona had used his Alice. Tsubasa asks if Tono can help Mikan using his Alice. Tono says that's stupid and that he can't do anything. The best place is the hospital but Persona's Alice isn't an something that can be healed easily so the hospital might not help.Everyone looked a little bit depressed but then Tono said that Hotaru's brother might help. It seems that Hotaru's brother was harmed by a monster in the "Junior High Underground Basement". The Monster is Persona.So they went to find Hotaru's brother. Sakurano was there with Hotaru's brother. Hotaru's brother was disgusted when he saw them. (They were all dirty) Anyway, Imai-san (Hotaru's Brother) just quickly asked Tono to help and start exam Mikan.Imai-san said that it might not work. While they are doing that, everyone started to tell the whole story. How they entered the forbidden place and started fighting Rui and Hayate then fight Persona and saved Aoi.Tono is seriously mad. Sakurano isn't really happy about this and wants them to get out70. Mikan is badly injured from Persona's Alice and must be taken to the hospital. However, Subaru notices that the black marks on Mikan are fading and that Mikan is making a large alice stone. This ability to "steal" away is a rare Aice; the Steal Alice and the only other to have this Alice is Yuka. Subaru and Sakurano conclude that it could inherited as they think of fond memories of Yuka. Haymai, of the news department spreads the news about the Hyuuga siblings with no Alice, staying at the school secretly. Going forward a week later Mikan is healthy again and back in class. Elsewhere Narumi is reading later that is to the middle school principal. The letter states that no action or punishment will be taken, possibly because students will become curious and investigate. Also, doctors were unable to remove Yo-chan's Gulliver's Candy, so he is now capable of switching back and froth between a 13 year old and 3 year old. To fix her eyesight Aoi has been staying in the hospital and is leaving Gakuen Alice today. To not cause a crowd Mikan and friends send Aoi off secretly. Mikan and Aoi are happy to see each other, especially since Aoi is now able to see. Mikan tells Aoi that she doesn't know how she got better, since Subaru and Tono won't tell her. Although, Tono does ask her if she can steal his Alice or create an Alice stone. Back when Aoi was in the hospital she asked Natsume to go back with her, but he told her that he can't leave now, because his friends need him. Aoi understands,saying she will wait for him and asks everyone to take care of her brother for her. Natsume and Aoi's father then arrive at the gate, so does Ruka's Mother. Natsume hugs his father thorough the bars of the gate and Ruka does the same, until security removes them. Mikan remembers that she will one day meet her grandfather again too, but it will be harder now, because of her troublemaking. After seeing Mikan upset over her no star status Ruka throws away his stars and announces that he is the same as Sakura.

In the last chapter everyone split apart but ruka kept on going with mikan. Hotau got her brother back by stealing his Alice. (No hotaru does not have the stealing Alice it got put in her by mikan.)
