That depends on what chapter you are playing. If you are playing ultramarines, use a high quality acrylic paint, Games Workshop paints are nice. If you use GW paints then base coat them regal blue, highlight the edges with ultramarines blue, paint the shoulder pads dwarf bronze then go over that with shining gold.
