A "parallelogram" technically is a shape where opposite sides are equal and any shape with four sides is a "quadrilateral".

Every square has four sides of equal length, so a square is both a parallelogram and a quadrilateral.

A rhombus(or diamond shape) can have four sides of equal length and can be a parallelogram as well, so either are possibilities.

A parallelogram with all side the same length but no a rectangle?

It could be either of the following: * Rhombus - A parallelogram with four sides of equal length. * Square - A parallelogram with four sides of equal length and four angles of equal size (right angles).

What is a parrallelogram with equal sides?

A parallelogram with equal length sides is a RHOMBUS. A parallelogram with equal sides and the four angles are at 90 degrees is a SQUARE.

Is a rhombus a parallelogram and why?

Technically it is because a rhombus is a parallelogram that has four sides of equal length in the same way that a square is technically a rectangle that has four sides of equal length.

Is it possible to have a square that is not a parallelogram?

No. Squares have to have four sides of equal length and four angles of equal size. It is possible however, to have a trapezium which is not a parallelogram. Also a rhombus is a parallelogram with four sides of equal length and two pairs of equally sized angles.

What is a quadriateral that is a parallelogram with all four sides equal and opposite angles equal?

A rhombus has four equal length sides and is a parallelogram. Think of a pushed over square.

What is the different between a parallelogram and a rhombus?

All four sides of a rhombus are the same length. A parallelogram has two pairs of equal length. This is analogous to the difference between a square and a rectangle.

Why is a parallelogram not a rhombus?

It is, if all four of its sides are the same length.

Is a rhombus a type of parallelogram?

Yes, and it has 4 equal sides.Yes a rhombus is a type of a parallelogram that has 4 equal sides

What is a parallelogram with four right angles and opposite sides of equal length?

a square

Is a parallelogram are always rhombus?

No. A rhombus is a special case when all four sides are of the same length. A parallelogram must have opposite sides of equal length but adjacent sides can be of different length.

Is a rhombus a parallelogram with four right angles and all sides equal in length?

No, that's a square. A rhombus is a parallelogram with 4 equal sides, but no right angles.

A rhombus is a parallelogram?

Yes. A parallelogram has two pairs of opposite sides parallel (and each pair of equal length). A rhombus has two pairs of opposite sides parallel (and each of those pairs of opposite sides are of equal length), thus it is a parallelogram. It is a special case of parallelogram where all four sides are equal in length, not just the opposite pairs.
