There are two methods to move around in your document,
If you are using a mouse, you can move around each page of a document by scrolling up and down using the "Scrolling wheel" on mouse.
If you are using a keyboard, you can move around using the "Page Up and Page Down" arrow keys on your keyboard.

The only two ways to get power to your computer is through a power adapter from an electrical outlet, and through your computer's battery. You can use power from your computer on almost any output. USB's are the most common providing around 5V of electricity. Other ports have power running through them along with data. You would have to isolate these pins to get any sort of useful power from them.
Depends on what you consider a database. Within the realm of computing, yes... a database is stored/accessed on a computer. But, a telephone book is also a database in the broad sense of the word (it certainly was before computers came around) or any such reference document or report.
