It enters your nose and then goes to your throat. It then goes through the epiglottis and then to the trachea. The bronchi bring it to the lungs which then pump it through the body. Then the air goes to the aveoli where it is stored. I am not to sure about some of this but i am sure about the steps. Like nose, throat, epiglottis, trachea, bronchi, lungs, aveoli.

Air with waste or air to be expelled follows the same path as inspired air, just in reverse. From the alveoli, the air flows through back through the tertiary secondary and then primary bronchi, before re-entering the trachea, the pharynx, the nasal canal and then exits through the nostrils.

Air from our body leaves by way of our lungs. That air is higher in carbon dioxide than the air that we take in. A small amount of 'air' is lost at the other end of the body as well.
The answer may stink, but everything we eat or drink gives us gas. In fact, it's normal to produce up to half a gallon (1.9 liters), or about 15 to 20 toots worth of gas each day.
Particularly fragrant flatulence, however, comes from colonies of bacteria living inside our lower intestinal tract. In the process of converting our meals into useful nutrients, these food-munching microbes produce a smelly by-product of hydrogen sulfide gas, the same stench that emanates from rotten eggs.
Just like the rest of us, the bacteria like munching on sugary foods best. The types of sugar naturally present in milk, fruit and, of course, beans produce the most gas..

Waste is what is leftover after your body extracts all of the appropriate nutrients. They form mainly in the large intestine and is stored in the rectum.
