There does not appear to be adequate information available to know how many Disney employees are gay.
65,700 jobs are supported by the Disneyland Resort, including about 20,000 direct Disney employees and 3,800 third-party employees.
Current employees can find resources on The Hub, Disney's internal website.
cuz he's gay....
It is not gay to have the Kim Possible SMS ringtone and there is no harm for liking the popular Disney show.
As a former Disney employee I can say that courtesy is always emphasized by the company. At the resort, all employees are expected to smile and treat the guests with the upmost politeness. Disney employees carry around reference guides so they can be helpful to any puzzled guest. They are constantly answering questions about times and locations in a friendly manner. Disney employees are even instructed to never point, a rude gesture. Instead they either gesture with the whole hand or with two fingers. Approach any Disney cast member and you are sure to find a courteous individual wearing a large grin!
Of course they do. Disney is a major business, and they would not turn away 10 percent of the population. Furthermore, they are quite lgbt friendly. My partner and I go to Disney parks all the time and feel very comfortable holding hands, kissing, etc. Its Disney after all, half the park employees are gay. :)
Gay Days is not sponsored by the Walt Disney Company. It is organized by the independent Gay Days, Inc.
Gay Days at Walt Disney World was created in 1991.
The last check was from 2008 and the whole Walt Disney Company has over 150,000 employees.
Disney characters, people from around the world, employees and such.
Disney has cast members (employees) work in all the parks from all over the world, including Cali locals working in Florida.
Disney's Gay Days occur when LGTB individuals go to Disney on a specific day. They wear red. There are events that over a weeks time.
While Walt Disney has never openly stated his views on LGBT, Disney has hosted "Gay Days" since 1991, they have offered health benefits for employees with same sex partners since 1995, they have allowed same sex marriage ceremonies as part of their "Fairy Tale Wedding" packages since 2007, and in February 2013, appointed it's first openly gay president.
There is a Disney Careers website you can visit.
