What are some physical requirements for marine biologists?

First off, you DO need a degree. The Bachelor of Science in Marine Biology. A degree Marine Biology is usually accomplished through a Bachelor of Science degree with a stream in marine biology, however course titles vary according to institutions. Marine Biology is a multidisciplinary field of study, linking Biology and the ecology, as well as other environmental sciences. A marine biology degree provides students with a vast range of opportunities to study marine organism fundamentals, especially in relation to biology as well as to genetics, conservation and aquaculture. Possible subjects through out a marine biology degree include the following: * Biology * Chemistry * Statistics * Conservation biology * Ecology of Marine Organisms * Biological Oceanography * Marine Mammal Biology * Community Ecology * Plant Speciation and Evolution * Cell Biology Note: Marine biology is continually changing, as the new advances in biology continue, genetic research is playing an important role in analysing in species. Does marine biology include penguins?

All aspects of science and the environment are interconnected. Penguins are dependent on the ocean for life. They live near the ocean and consume fish. Without the ocean or enough marine resources, penguins would not be able to survive. This is also why polar bears are studied by some marine biologists.

What qualifications do you need to be a marinologist?

I assume you mean a marine biologist. You need a degree in marine biology. This means you will probably have to go to a school near the ocean. You can get basic classes in biology, math and chemistry at any college but you will have to transfer to a college that offers such a degree later. If you are in high-school take classes in chemistry and biology and some math as preparation for such a degree. Also many jobs in marine biology involve some scuba diving and snorkeling so you will eventually need to learn these skills as well.

What is marien biology?

Marine biology is the scientific study of living organisms in the ocean or other marine or brackish bodies of water. Given that in biology many phyla, families and genera have some species that live in the sea and others that live on land, marine biology classifies species based on the environment rather than on taxonomy. Marine biology differs from marine ecology as marine ecology is focused on how organisms interact with each other and environment and biology is the study of the animal itself.

What schools offer necessary courses to become a marine biologist.?

Try looking into schools that offer marine biology as a degree program. For example, UNC Chapel Hill and UNC Wilmington offer great programs in marine biology. Some schools may not offer marine biology as a degree program, but if you took regular biology there is no doubt that at the master's level you'll be in the marine biology program.

What skills do you need to be a marine biologist?

Well, you need to be exited if you'd like to be one. (Exitment is the key.) To start off, instead of actually going to a real marine biology lab, you need to visit a Ocean, Lake, River, or Stream. Flip over some rocks and find some creatures. Try figuring out what they are. Curiosty of this is exactly the way Marine Biologists are. If you live next to any of these bodies of water... YOUR LUCKY! Next, you need to find out what Marine Biology is. "It's training Dolphins." people say. Errr! Wrong! Marine Biology is almost like that, but its mostly conserving, and rescuing. Marine Biology does rescue Marine Mammals, and yes, you can have a specialty into that. My answer really isn't that good, but visit this link.
