go to "bagit.com" and watch the video they explain everything, srsly.
later.
One of the chemical properties of plastics is the absorption of UV light especially from sunlight. Cracking when subjected to heat and stress is the other chemical property of the plastics.
Yes,it is the plastics, wood.our clothes that donot conduct heat or electricity
A material which is very resistant to electrical flows. Typical insulators are rubber, plastics, ceramics and glass.A material that blocks the flow of electrical current. ie, porcelain, bakelite, rubber etc.
Plastics and rubbers.
Some plastics will float in water and others will sink. It depends on the type of plastic and in particular it depends on the density of the plastic material. This property is used as a method for separating the different plastics sent for recycling. Polyethylene and Polypropylene, for example, will float in water while PVC and ABS will sink.
Some examples: - plastics have a very low density - plastics are not corroded - platics are easily machined - plastics are non-corrodable
Their chemical formulas and physical properties. Polysaccharides have repeating glucose units whereas plastics may be composed of a wide range of organic material units.
Plastics are usually synthetic organic polymers. The first step to manufacturing plastics is to get the materials. Step 2 is to synthesize the polymer. Step 3 involves compounding the polymer into a material that can be used and step 4 involves shaping the plastic into it's form.
In the early 2000s, plastics manufacturing began to rebound from the slump begun in the mid-1990s.
By properties they are Thermosetting plastics and Thermoplastics
Plastics offer advantages over metal in weight, manufacturing costs, and corrosion resistance.

Properties of PlasticSome physical properties: transparency, flexibility, elasticity, permeability, water resistant, electrical resistance, Specific Gravity, soft when hot. Some chemical properties: solubility, chemical resistance, thermal stability, reactivity with water, flammability, heat of combustion
Preheating is necessary for those plastics who are hygroscopic in nature. Mostly all engineering plastics are need to be preheated before processing. If we do not preheat the material than the present moisture in plastics material will react with molten plastic during processing and will cause breakage of polymer chain and results the poor visual appearence (Silver Streaks) & lower mechanical properties of the molded component. Plastics can be preheated thro Hot air oven or Material hopper dryer. And the preheat tempreature may very plastics to plastics. Answer By: Sachin Porwal, Follow me on Twitter: @sachinporwal
plastics
Plastics cover a wide field, everything from fragile cling film to bullet resistant polycarbonate. Question too vauge to answer.
