I would say Tylenol, definitely. Advil secondly, Motrin thirdly.
No. Tylenol contains a pain reliever known as Acetaminophen. Advil contains an NSAID known as Ibuprofen. Advil is better for inflammatory pains such as sinus headaches, arthritis, and swollen injuries. Tylenol is better for relieving fever, the common cold, and toothaches. Yes, i just did when i ran out of Advil. It works the Same as Tylenol with acetaminophen.
Yes, you can take Advil and paracetamol together. Advil works best for treating inflammation and reducing pain while paracetamol targets a fever.
Antibiotics are the best way to go, but I have heard of some people taking Advil/Tylenol which works for some people, but no home remedies that work well.
fever is best reduced by aspirin as it dilates the vascular system and helps dissipate heat, it also works on the part of the brain that regulates your body temperature, bringing your fever more into check than any other pain reliever.
Way, way BETTER! Works great when every other similar drug, except cortison, did not work. Low back pain. L4-L5-S1.
No, Tylenol works by another mechanism and has no blood thinning effects. Ibuprofen (Advil, Motrin) and naproxen (Alleve) have the potential to cause additional bleeding, so only use it as directed by your doctor.
If you don't have pain pills (I'm assuming you mean opiates), I would try Klonopin, or a muscle relaxer. I find Tylenol and Motrin and Advil, etc to be useless. Or, you could try Cymbalta or Lyrica, which supposedly work for fibromyalgia pain. What really works though, is exercise, and stretching, and ice and warm wraps, and massages, things like that. I know it sucks, I wish a pill would make all the pain go away, but I sure haven't found one.
If you take vyvanse during the day but need help falling asleep at night, try half of an advil pm. it works for me, and the dr. said it's not harmful.
Excedrin Migraine, Advil Migraine, and Motrin Migraine Pain are equally effective for mild to moderate migraines. You can also try eating a very salty snack like a small bag of salty chips to help reduce it.
Advil or Tylenol and stuff like that helps. Don't have caffeine. lots of exercise a few days before its supposed to start (well you need exercise anyways so...) and i personally find that laying in the fetal position on my side works. hope this helped :)
I was a medical Assistant for several years and I am a mother of 3 and grandmother of 2 and have spent much time at the doctors office due to various reasons including ear infections, coughs and colds, strep throat etc... and my children are now adults and obviously I still "care for" them when they are ill (they'll always be my babies :) On numerous occasions we have been instructed to alternate ibuprofen and Tylenol at the same time.....taking the ibuprofen every 6 hours and the Tylenol (even T3's) every 4 hours. This is safe because, although both medicines are pain relievers, they each contain a different medication that works in a different way. I hope this helps.
