What pokeball do you use to catch Ditto in heart gold?

I used an ultra ball, but first, I had to use mean look to keep him from fleeing, and then taunt to keep it from using roar to flee.

EDIT: If you didn't use mean look like me every time you encounter it use a quick ball that you get from goldenrod city prizes and pokemarts. Hopefully it helps! ~Riack~:p

You can use a Pokeball called a Master Ball it will catch in one try. but you might want to save your Master Ball for another Legandary, so get some Ultra balls, Great balls, Poke balls, Fast balls, etc. To catch Entei.

Note: Entei Flees a Lot.

The Master ball is the best but if you don't wanna use it you can use a dusk ball in the night or a ultra ball. I try it whit a ultra ball 5 times but don't catch that ho-oh the 6th time i used a fast ball in first turn and got it so.

You can use any type of poke ball to catch entei there is no specific one, since entei constantly flees from battle you may want to use your master ball but since you only have 1 and there are allot harder things to capture. The best plan is to trap it in battle by using a move like mean look coupled with lowering its hp then repeatedly throwing ultra balls at it
