What degree is needed to become a singer?

To become a professional singer you need to go to college that teaches you the kind of music that you want to compose. It also has to teach you music notes, how to write songs, and how to go from low to high vocals.

Assuming you have a voice. Practical and theoretical, vocal and stage craft. Plus serving your time in small parts in small companies and productions. All suiting your vocal range / voice type. [Then a fair bit of luck].

you need to get a degree in music first,then transfer to another school to get your bachelors degree in music,because if you are going to school to become a singer i am far too sure that you are attending a let down ,two year,community college.you will need to talk classes like sociology psychology western civ I and II and then you will need to take a body painting classes and do yoga exercises until you earn that singing degree......good luck with that

you don't need education but you may want to try singing lessons or music school to finalize and manage your voice. There is no age limit for singing.

Well, for starters, you can't be one of those people who passes out after high notes, and your voice has to be atleast a little good. Or you can always sing for your family.
