Christianity is the religion Jesus Christ founded

AnswerAccording to The Bible, Jesus didn't found any religions. AnswerJesus Himself was quite clear both in His words and actions that He was founding the New Covenant and fulfilling the Old. A religion basically seeks to define and facilitate man's relationship to God - Jesus Christ was quite obviously founding a religion. He referred to it as the New Law, and gave it's institutional name as the "Church" or the "Kingdom of Heaven". To this end He taught a very specific body of doctrine, commissioned a hierarchy and empowered them to act in His stead and in His Name, claimed authority in religious matters and likewise empowered his disciples, determined He had jurisdiction over the entire world and all its peoples and He usurped the Jewish Law - something that would have indeed been bold-faced, shameless blasphemy unless He was truly God or insane. Members of the Church soon became identified as Christians. Over the centuries, however, the identity of Christ's Church has become increasingly difficult to discern as many branches and sects have split from it while still claiming to be Christian. Of these churches only those known as Catholic and Orthodox retain the jurisdiction and authoritative apostolic succession as well as retaining the ancient Christian belief, rituals and doctrines. These two are actually of the one Church, but for over a thousand years they have considered each other to be in schism or separation from each other over a dispute regarding Church authority.

Answer

Jesus preached nothing but Islam. He himself was a muslim. He was a prophet of God. Not the God nor the Son of God. He was never killed nor was he crucified but he had bodily ascended to heaven and he'll return of the Day of Judgement to tell every Christian he was not god, and he'll destroy the cross.

Answer:

Christianity is not really a religion that was founded, but a faith which demonstrates the reconciliation between God and man (Romans 3:23; 6:23; John 3:3-8; Acts 2:38)

Additional Answer:

Yahushua was a Hebrew, and kept all of the commandments of YHWH as Moses wrote them down.

Yahushua kept the sabbath, the festivals of YHWH, wore 4 tassels on the corners of his clothing, ate clean foods, and did everything else found in the books of the law, also known as the "Torah."

Yahushua did NOT keep the traditions of the elders, also known as the Mishna or the Talmud. Things like wearing a Yarmikule, certain washings before eating, and not pronouncing the name of the father (YaHuWaH) are part of these traditions, but are not found in the Torah. Yahushua did not keep these traditions, and often railed against those who taught them on par with the teachings of YHWH.
