The major religion of Norway is The State Church of Noway which is considered Evangelical-Lutheran. An 1964 amendment to the constitution allowed free exercise of all religions. Despite 80% of citizens having membership in the State Church, Norwegians seem to have a lukewarm view of religion with only 10% of church members attending services regularly.
