If you're period is normal then its highly unlikely you're pregnant. But you can do a pregnancy test 3 weeks after conception.
Why would you want to? Getting your period means your not pregnant
I'm not a doctor, but I am a mother. You can spot during pregnancy as well as have a regular period during pregnancy. I would suggest waiting three weeks from the missed period and take an over the counter pregnancy test. You should schedule an appointment with your doctor to discuss this with them.
Some women have light bleeding during their pregnancy but it is not a period, a menstrual period is the shedding of the uterine lining - if the uterine lining sheds during pregnancy the embryo or fetus would be miscarried.
Yes, she is ovulating and unprotected sexual intercourse would result in a pregnancy.
Hi there. :-) During pregnancy a woman can not have a normal period. But you can experience light period bleeding around the time you would expect your period for the first three months. But any bleeding during early pregnancy does need to be reported to your doctor so they can make sure the pregnancy is progressing well and the Foetus is viable.
I would say there is a good reason for you to go to the shop and buy a pregnancy test
Pregnancy on the IUD is unlikely. Getting pregnant during your period is also unlikely. Taken together -- it's possible to get pregnant during your period on the IUD, but it would be a huge shock.
Its impossible for you to have your period during a pregnancy , but there are cases that women have bleeding during pregnancy time , but that would only would be a few days, and brown blood means that you have misscarried if your pregnant so check with your doctor.
why would you take PT if you're on your period?if you're having your period it means that you don't have to be worry on getting pregnant.
If you conceived on birth control you would not get your period or would receive a very unusual period for you. If you suspect pregnancy, perform a pregnancy test.
I would call you OBGYN ASAP! or even go to the ER> that could mean two things. Either your going to have your period during pregnancy or you are having complications..
any pregnancy test would be accurate. Your period does not change the results of a pregnancy test. ~pawsalmighty
no -- once pregnant you won't get a period, however some people do experience bleeding especialy during the first 12 weeks of pregnancy. the bleeding you get during the first few weeks i implantation bleeding. Visit www.askdramy.com it has plenty of info on early pregnancy and bleeding
Absolutely, if you've skipped one period go ahead and take the test if you suspect a pregnancy. You might get a chemical pregnancy result though, where you get positives at first but a failed implantation would give later negative results. Keep in mind Ovarian cysts, Tubal pregnancy will show up positive as well. Good luck testing hope you get the answers you seek.
Most likely, no. Very rarely do women have their period of they are pregnant. If you do not have your period when it would usually come, or within two weeks afterwards, there is a chance of pregnancy. If you have the other signs of pregnancy but you are on your period, it would still be smart to take a pregnancy test.
A light period that is caused by pregnancy will usually cease within 48hours and only require 2 sanitary pads during this time. But its possible that a slightly heavier period than the above may be a indication of pregnancy. Performing a pregnancy test would be ideal in your situation. If its negative then you simply have a lighter period this month.
It could have been implantation bleeding or some women experience a period (or two or more) during their pregnancy.
If you have missed your period and took the test I would say that the result are pretty reliable.
You can test on the first day of your missed period, if the result is negative test again after 2 days.
Many women would assume that having their period meant that they are not pregnant. And strictly speaking, it does. However it is possible to have spotting (implantation bleeding) after conception. A pregnancy test should be just as reliable during your period. You do not need to wait to take it.
When you have your period it is 99% that you are not pregnant. If you are pregnant there is HCG in your system therefore even with a light period you can take the test and it would come up positive despite the bleeding. Vaginal bleeding during pregnancy will not affect the outcome of a pregnancy test. A pregnancy test will only look for HCG in your urine & will only turn positive when HCG has been found in your urine. Vaginal bleeding will not affect the result at all hun. However you should not be experiencing vaginal bleeding during early pregnancy. Light bleeding is common during the implantation bleeding process but not every pregnant woman will experience this. Brown spotting can also occur during pregnancy. A pregnancy test will only be negative when you're not pregnant or when you performed the test too early. A pregnancy test can usually performed 2-3 weeks after intercourse & the result will be accurate. However it is advisable you see your Doctor for a pregnancy blood test or if you suspect you're miscarrying, go straight to A&E for a thorough examination.
I hate to state the obvious, but if you are pregnant you would get a positive, if you are not then it would be a negative.
That would be a missed period and a positive pregnancy test.
These are very good indications of pregnancy. I would take a test to be sure.
