I have a m1903. Had a B-Square aftermarket mount put on mine years ago. Made a great long range deer rifle.

This would be very difficult as the Springfield Model 15 .22 caliber rifle is already an antique. Try the Burris 3 - 9 x 40 scope and hopefully there will be enough room for the holes to mount.

A scope mount for a gun is used to magnify and visualize targets in the distance. You can purchase a scope mount from any gun store or from a hunting store.

The scope mount for the Remington Model 750 is regularly sold at GunBroker.com.

There is no specific scope mount for that gun. A gunsmith will have to drill/tap the receiver for a generic top mount.

I am not familiar with this particular model (427) but I am familiar with Benjamin air rifle. If your problem is that there is on Scope rail to mount your scope then I know how to fix it. Crosman airguns owns Benjamin air guns. Crosman offers a special Benjamin barrel clamp that lets you mount a scope to it. See the link below

It looks like any mount that will clamp to the top rail is good. No gunsmithing is necessary to mount a scope.

Yes. You will need to see a gunsmith.

I have just purchased a 187S Savage with Springfield scope( 4x ). I paid $65.00 for it.

I'd start with Amazon. Your rifle is a Savage model 340, and if you search for Savage 340 scope mount, you will get a lot of hits. The mount and a set of rings is about $53.98. Shoot safe and often.

If you want to mount the scope directly to the barrel grooves you will need a 926587Redfield 1" Tip-Off Ring Mount 3/8" Grooved Receiver Matte Medium These are available at midway.com make sure you get the correct size rings to mount to your scope usually 1" Dia. You may need the tip off ring to be higher to clear the barrel mounted sight and the safety. The one above worked just fine on my wife's Springfield 187N. Typically, a 2.5 to 4 power scope. You may need an offset mount, since the 94 ejects through the top.

You will need a gunsmith to drill and tap the reciever to install a scope mount. Early 22 rifles did not have the dovetail grooves.
