For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

You couldn't get much better than that promise of prosperity - ETERNAL LIFE
The Bible does not teach the 'prosperity gospel' as some have and now are doing. Instead, the Bible tells us to be careful of riches and wanting of:
1 Timothy 6:9-11New King James Version (NKJV)9 But those who desire to be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and harmful lusts which drown men in destruction and perdition. 10 For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil, for which some have strayed from the faith in their greediness, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.
The Good Confession11 But you, O man of God, flee these things and pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, gentleness. The questioner must consider that of all the Apostles, only Judas was concerned with money, more so than being in the presence and tutelage of Christ. It is also important to note that Jesus said even He was without a place to lay His head down in Matthew 8:20.
To be Christ's followers (disciples) we are to place God first and that often requires surrendering all that humans hold dear and of value.
Many of the promises are conditional. Look for the word "If". There are others that are unconditional. These tend to be covenants God has made with his people.
Their tenets are based on Biblical Scriptures and their interpretation of the Scriptures.

Marshall Plan
Superficial prosperity was caused by banks giving out loans to people who appeared to be prosperous but werenâ??t. As a result, people took out loans to buy things they couldnâ??t afford to have or pay for. Much of the so-called prosperity was based on an allusion.
