The proper fuel pressure of a 1995 Astro van should be between 55-61 psi. Checking the fuel pressure at home requires a fuel pressure gauge and knowledge of the location of the shader valve on the fuel rail.
Could YOU tell me where the fuel pressure regulator is on a 95 astro van
To relieve the fuel pressure on a Chevrolet S10, the fuel pump relay should first be removed. Then, the engine should be startedand run until it stalls.
it should be on the drivers side right about where the fuel rail ends at least that's where its at on my 94
The Fuel Tank is 27 gallons. I've had my 95 Astro van since 2000.
faulty fuel pressure regulator , it should be located on or near the fuel rail. replace it. that should do it. actually, the fuel pressure regulator is located on top of the fuel sending unit in the gas tank. (unless its a 95 or early 96 with the steel tank)
40 psi plus or minus 5
fuel pressure on the fuel rails there is a fuel pressure regulator on 95 and earlier right side front of rails
THE FUEL PRESSURE ON ALL CHEVY'S 95 AND UP IS 60 TO 65 PSI
If you mean the fuel pressure regulator, it's on the end of the fuel rail near where the fuel line attaches.
From 87 to 95 did not have them. You will have to crack the fuel line alittle to relieve fuel pressure.
9 to 13 LBS. No lower are no higher are you will have starting or running problems.
Normal fuel pressure runs between 14 to 18 PSI on most fuel injected gasoline engines.
