What should the idle speed be for a 1995 Chrysler Concorde with 3.5 L V6?
Probably between 600 to 1000 RPM. RPM is revolutions per minute. Hovering right below 1k is the average for just about all cars.

If you changed brake pads before (on any car) it is easy. Take off the wheel, look for the two bolts that hold on the caliper assembly, take them out, wiggle the assembly off of the rotor, (don't let it hang by the hose) pop out the old pads. (if you had "tattle-tail" noises, check to see if the rot…or is scarred, if so...replace or have it turned) Buy or borrow a large "C" clamp, place one end of the "C" clamp on the outside of the caliper and using one of the old pads (so it doesn't matter if you scar up the pad) slowly press the cylinder back into the rotor (all the way flush) be sure to watch the brake fluid level in the reservoir. (so it doesn't over flow) install new pads in the place of the old pads and prepare to re-install. Watch the little "bootys" that the bolt holding the bolts in the caliper assembly when going back, sometimes they are run out and need to be pushed back in so it will fit back on the rotor. Put them back, tighten bolts, clean brake rotor with good brake cleaner, replace wheel, (do other side) then when you get back in the car, pump the brake a few times until it come up from the floor (it's adjusting the cylinder) slowly back up applying brakes until they are adjusted. Then smile....you just saved about $100! Also...buy a Haynes manual for the car....they are usually decient for most cars ( Full Answer )
In all due respect....What difference does it make?? On either the 3.3L or 3.5L it runs off of the back side of the belt and turns counter clockwise when viewed from the front.
Idle speed on a 1995 Chrysler Cirrus is controlled by the PCM. The PCM operates the idle air control motor. The PCM adjusts engine speed through the idle air control motor to compensate for engine load, coolant temperature or barometeric pressure changes. The Idle Air Control (IAC) motor is mounted …on the throttle body and has an air bypass passage that provides air for the engine during closed throttle idle. The idle air control motor pintle protudes into the air bypass passage and regulates air flow trough it. The PCM adjusts engine idle speed by moving the IAC motor pintle in and out of the bypass passage. The adjustments are based on inputs the PCM receives. The inputs are from the throttle position sensor, crankshaft position sensor, coolant temperature sensor, MAP sensor, vehicle speed sensor and various switch operations. Hope that helps. Answer . \nthe water pump is driven by the timing belt, so the front of the engine must come off, including radiator, fans, belts, pulleys, timing belt cover, etc. the timing belt removed (making sure cams do not rotate, water pump can then be changed. 4 bolts i think. its just a pain to get t…o it, then when you put the belt back on, you must put the belt tensioner back on correctly. best way is to remove it, compress it in a vise then insert the proper pin to hold the spring back while you bolt it back on. the spring is very strong and will bend bailing wire or mechanics wire, so do not use that. use the proper pin...call the dealer or parts dealer for info on this. \n. \nA cheapy chiltons manual explains it fairly well if your a decent mechanic. if your not comfortable doing all this, take it to a shop that is. Answer . You don't have one. The fan is controlled by the PCM. It gets its information from the A/C pressure switch and a sensor right behind the thermostat. The temperature guage gets it's reading the same way, so if the guage is reading ok, the sensor is good.
Also, how do you repair, replace brake light bulb located at the bottom of rear window in the middle? Is there a fuse just for THAT circuit? Thanks, Mike\n. \n Answer \n. \n. \nOpen trunk, look inside the trunk at where approximately the tailights are, look for plastic "wing-nut" style nuts,… take them off (there are 3 I believe), work the tail light out from the outside. (you should be able to loosen it after the wingnuts are off with your hand) The wires will still be attached. They (the socket) will usually come out in a 1/4 turn, replace with indentical bulb. Answer . Most are located in fuel tank - - may have to remove. some have access hole in trunk for this purpose good luck. On a 1993 to 1997 Concorde there is an access plate in the trunk. Remove the carpet, remove 4 nuts holding plate, unplug electrical connecter, unhook fuel lines, loosen clam…p on pump, and remove pump. ( Full Answer )
Answer . \nOn the front of the radio panel there are two small indents. They are marked H (hour) and M (minute). Take a ball point pen and press each indent to correct time. Very simple.
its right under the rear passanger door. simple job. took me maybe like 10 minutes. easy clips. one you squeeze together and it pops off, the other you have to push towards the fuel line and then pull the filter out. you'll get it if you have any common sense. but the filter cost me about 20 b…ucks. The water pump on the 1995 Chrysler Concord is located behind a metal plate located in front of the engine just behind the main fly wheel that has the two drive belts. You must remove the metal plate that contains about 14 bolts and remove the plate then you will see the water pump behind the timing… belt. It contains three screws that must be removed. Purchase a Automotive manual for your car and follow the directions pretty much to the letter. ( Full Answer )
Answer . There are two sensors located on the driver's side of the transmission. there is an input and and output sensor. You can get to them from the underside of the car.
If you are standing in front of the car, your number 1 spark plug is the first plug on the left in the front of the car. Number 2 is the first plug on the right. 3rd plug is the second one on the left and so on.
Answer . Make sure the thermostat is installed correctly, then there are other factors to consider. Your radiator may be plugged or corroded ( if you run anything but the correct mix of coolant and water you will have this), The radiator fans may not be engaging, the water pump may be bad, you c…ould have a head gasket failure. look on the passenger side, it is located in between the door and the dash. there should be a triangular shaped panel on the side of the dash that will pull off with a little effort and the bcm is about a 4inch by 5inch black box with numbers on it. if you are replacing it, the numbers MUST match on… the replacement bcm. i just replaced one today on my sister-in-law's car.. If one has theft and the other doesn't, the car will not start. ( Full Answer )
The original answer given by someone else wasn't accurate. It's probably under the dash, but it would be ABOVE the noise guard (knee protector). Not below it. It would likely be between the fuse box and brake, up high above the knee, behind the panel. But to be honest, it's not even there on my 1995… Chrysler concord. So the original answer is definitely wrong. I have a 2002 and it IS behind the "knee" dash cover, this is removed by opening your fuse access panel on the left end of the dash, then there are 2 screws to be removed, once removed it pops out as it is just snapped into place using clips, it is close to the steering column. On my 2002 i have several relays, only one of which is black and that is the flasher/hazard relay. If you plan on keeping the car and doing alot of work on your own, invest in a chilton manual at your local auto store, it has ALL the steps needed for performing any maintenance on your car. The books run around $25. ( I just replaced that exact relay today) ( Full Answer )
The oil capacity of a 93-97 Chrysler Concorde with a 3.5 liter engine is 5.5 quarts.
10w 30 is your best bet but to be absolutely sure, ask a mechanic or people at autoparts stores.
im not sure if its the same but its right above my right leg under the dash on my 96; Concorde lxi
Where is the ob1 diagnostic connector outlet locatedWhere is the odb diagnostic connector outlet located on the 1995 Chrysler Concorde 3.5 liters?
you don't need that turn your key forward and back three times and on the forth leave the key forward watch where your miles are it will give you your codes. Chrysler has whats known as on board diagnostics . don't need obd!
thay are on the driver side of the trans. The output speed sensor is the two wire sensor to the rear of the driver side of the transmission.
Passenger side of engine block about half way down. That's where it was on my 94 Concorde.
I just did this on my car (same make/model/year). To remove the arm you will need to use a little force. You will notice first a hose with a join in the middle where the arm meets the cowel of the car (the plastic vent shaped piece right by the base of the wind shield). This hose is how the windshie…ld solution is delivered to the wiper arm. You want to pull this hose apart right at the join, it should come apart. Now you need to remove the arm itself. There is a metal mushroom shaped piece that comes out of the car, the wiper arm slips over the head of this mushroom. The metal tab which is attached to the wiper arm (that slipped on) simply slides under the bottom of the mushroom head to keep it from coming off. You need to pull this tab out to remove the arm from the mushroom head. This tab is not always easy to move. I used a screw driver to gently pry the tab downward (toward the cowel) so it would come loose. Once loose I slid the tab out (it doesn't come out completely, just partially) until I saw a small hole in the tab piece. Then I pried the arm off the mushroom head using a fulcrom and a lever combined with a gentle twisting and pulling motion. It came off this way. Good luck. ( Full Answer )

It could be a small leak that you're just not seeing or it may be ingesting the coolant through a bad head gasket or cracked block/head.
the flasher that causes the turn signals to flash. But where is the flasher located on this car?
It is not adjustable, the computer controlls it through an electric idle speed motor on the intake..
You have to fix the cause of the code that put the trans computer in limp in. That could involve a new trans. Check all fuses and ground wire going to trans. I got lucky with my 98 and just had a bad gauge fuse (speedometer stopped working). Which also could have been a bad speed sensor (out…put) but the dash light which says what gear I was in was out to so. Crans ( Full Answer )
I owned a 1993 Chrysler minivan which got stock in 2nd gear at79,000 miles . This happened after I noticed it started to drop into second gear unexpected. Turns out that in my case, it was thebeginning of an automatic transmission failure (sorry). The dealerexplained to that when Chrysler transmissi…ons start to fail, theydon't usually stop working - -just stop working correctly meaningnot shifting into higher gears. . One thing you might want to check is to see if the transmissionfluid is OK . If it is low this might be why it is not shiftingcorrectly. . Wish I had a more promising answer! The transmission computer will store a code for the failure itdetected. ( Full Answer )
on my 94 Concorde with 3.5L it's right where you would expect, under the water outlet. I bought a new water outlet and thermostat. with gasket. It's two bolts and easy to replace. All parts were under $30. On the 2004 3.5 liter engine the thermostat location is found when you are standing at the f…ront of the car, looking at the engine, on the front area of the right side of the engine, down low. It is in a location that is barely visible from the top of the engine. I believe the only way it can be accessed is from underneath the vehicle. I need to change mine and I cannot do it myself anymore due to having become somewhat handicapped with no balance and also recent back surgery. I have two sons who won't do the job for me because of where it is located and even my brother doesn't really want to attempt it. Have fun! ( Full Answer )
Carefully pop the top off of the steering column. There are two screws in the bottom of the cover to take it off, and also take off the tilt lever. You'll need TORX or "star" bits for your screwdriver. Next, remove the two male star screws (black) from the turn signal switch with a pair of pliers. F…inally, remove the two silver male star screws from the ignition switch (below the turn signal lever) with a pair of pliers. Using some different (phillips head) screws when putting it back together makes it easier, or you could just buy the Torx sockets. ( Full Answer )
Engine, transmission, ABS are under the hood. Body, airbag, cluster, HVAC, RKE, are inside the dash.
Idle speed is not adjustable. It is computer controlled, and ifincorrect there is as sensor or vacuum problem.
If the AC control is always blowing hot air, the AC control head has failed.
The water pump in this vehicle is driven by the timing belt and is in the middle of the front of the block behind the timing belt cover.
When your Chrysler Concorde 1995 3.5 engine gets hot the transmission does not shift to third gear properly?
You need to have the transmission computer checked for codes. Itwill default into second gear only when a malfunction is detected.
The transmission speed sensors are located on the driver side of the transmission case. Those are also where the speedometer signal comes from. The abs sensors (if equipped) are located at each wheel bearing.
There is one on the left, one on the right, and one under the rearof the transmission.
Where is the location of the plug where you connect the obd 2 reader on a 1995 Chrysler Concorde 3.5 engine?
A 1995 is OBD1 not 2. The plug is the rectangular plug under the dash on the driver side. It is not the same style plug as an OBD2 plug.
There are two speed sensors, an input and output. They are located on the transmission. If the problem is the speedometer not working it is the output sensor located on the driver side of the rear of the transmission.
