If you have reason to believe that a person has been poisoned (conscious or otherwise), the FIRST THING you should do is CONTACT YOUR LOCAL POISON CONTROL CENTER.This number can typically be found in the front pages of the telephone book.If you can't find this number, immediately call 911.If you know what the person may have been poisoned with, read the label for instructions specific to that product. What you can do to help the person (aside from the above), is to stay with them, and talk to them. Check their eyes and skin for discoloring - blue lips and/or extremities can indicate that the person is having difficulty breathing.
If you suspect this you should go to the police.
A person should contact 911 if they are unsure whether or not to peform CPR on a person who is conscious, but can't breathe. They can advise on the proper steps that should be taken to save a person's life.
Because there is the possibility of breaking ribs

T-bag them till the person is ok
If the person is capable of responding, state your purpose and request permission.
