∙ 12y agoAll you have to do is ask him or even tell him that you wanted to be separated from him if the two of you has problem that needs to work on. Tell him that it will not help you move on if he stayed with you. Just be honest and be blunt.
Another PerspectiveYou should consult with an attorney who specializes in divorce and who has a good reputation. She/he can review your situation and explain your rights and options. Once you know your rights and the consequences of filing for divorce you can decide what you want to do. A husband cannot stop you from divorcing if you truly want to end your marriage.

∙ 14y agoIt depends if this is all of a sudden or has this been brewing for a while, are there children involved, there are too many issues involved here for an answer, but for starters have you talked this over, could acouncilor be called in for advice, if he does not want to go to one you could go alone, and make sure that the children do not get to chose sides, this is their father after all.
Try and talk to your clergy or a priest and hopefully they can offer you some advice that is constructive. Good Luck, please keep me posted.
