well on my first day of sixth grade i wore very natural clothing to indicate what kind of person i was , mind you i still am in sixth grade! more specifically wear things that bring out the real you because your first day is kind of you first impression on everyone what i mean is you don't want to wear something thats not you on the first day that may be uncomfortable just to look good not that you don't look good in casual and comfortable things so i hope this helped
