if the engine is the same size and type then yes usually they only change the bell housing on the transmission and sometimes the routing of the accessories but have to remove all that to remove the engine anyway
On top of the transmission bell housing where it bolts to engine, looking at the flywheel. That depends greatly on the year and engine size, please ask a new, more specific question.

You are probably needing a #12 external-torx.

Take the VIN off the dash and call your Ford dealer; one of the characters will identify your engine size. Also under your hood the will be a ID number which should indentify the size. Serial numbers are ususally located on rear of block near the bell housing.......1930fcoupe
Bell housing to engine block, 4 bolts are 3/8"-16 and 2 bolts are 7/16"-14.
On the passenger side of the engine by the bell housing of the transmission. A 10mm bolt holds the sensor in and one can possible access it from above or below, depending on the size of your hands.

yes a 4.3 will bolt up to a fullsize. it uses the same bellhousing as small block v8s and big block v8s as well
