kicker 10c124
12" 300W 4-Ohm SVC COMPVT Series Component Car Subwoofer Driver (Comp154)
better known as 12inch kicker comp. it doesnt cost that much to be a kicker around $60. you can purches this speaker at onlinecarstereo.com or crutchfield.com. when this amp is bridged its 150rms watts and 300w witch is getting the peak proformace out of it. the ratings of it bridged is also what the speaker calls for. so when its matched together dont be afraid to turn up the settings to the max it will hold trust me. this is the set up i have and it sounds great.
I dont advise it, but if you have a stock head unit, you will have to run your subs off of the door speakers. they will not be getting as much power as they should and neither will your door speakers.
Did you.. - plug it in ? - hook up the power ? - on what device are you using those speakers ? - Is it ON ? _ If its a computer .. Is the sound card detected ?
Typically one would hook up 2 - 4 speakers. But, keep the impedance correct (resistance, for lack of a more complicated definition) by wiring speakers in series and/or parallel and theoretically there is no limit to the amount of speakers, 6 - 8 should not be a problem.
To hook up stereo speakers in a truck, attach the stereo wiring to the stereo and run it to the speakers. Clip the stereo speakers into the wires and place them in the panel spaces in the truck.
Buy a cheap Jensen amp the 250watt 1.
Hook your speakers up to the amp.
You do not receive a receiver to hook up speakers to your tv. An jack that contains the speaker to your TV is all that you need.
it will them. You will have to hook them in 2 ohm. (bridged and parrallel) This will dump about 500 peak to each sub. It will sound good, but it wont be the maximum power rating for the subs
No. If it works at all, it will be underpowered, and possibly damage the speakers. To power 12V speakers, you have to have an adapter with EXACTLY 12V (no more, no less), and at least 1A. You could hook up a 12V 4A adapter if you wanted to, your speakers would just only draw 1A of power. Make sure you use a 12V adapter though!!
You don't hook them up. They are garbage, sold out of a white van, scam speakers. Find the guy that sold them to you and get your money back.
Yes, mp3 player portable speakers hook up to any mp3 player. This is because mp3 player portable speakers hook up to an mp3 player's headphone jack, and all mp3 players have headphone jacks.
You can usually hook up to six speakers and a subwoofer (6.1).
