There isn't really a theme song. But the songs in the movie are (in order):
1) Part of Your World
2) Under the Sea
3) Part of Your World (reprise)
4) Poor Unfortunate Souls
5) Kiss the Girl
I personally love these songs! So...Enjoy!
The songs in the Little Mermaid 2 are "Down to the Sea," "Titanic Tip and Daring Dash," "For a Moment," "Here on the Land and Sea," and there's also a deleted song on the DVD called "Gonna Get My Wish."

Based on different sources there are two possible answers. Some believe the song Part of your world is the main 'theme song', while others believe it is Under the Sea.

I dont know anymore places you could buy "Little Mermaid" in 2011 anymore... It's an old movie, but I bet you can find it at some movie stores. The special Disneyland movie stores will SURELY sell them still. But watching it on Youtube would save you more money....
The Little Mermaid, Ariel's Beginning/ The Little Mermaid III is a prequel. It goes back to when Ariel was 4 years old then around 14 years old. The original Little Mermaid is the first and Ariel is 16 in that movie. She is a mother of at least 28 in Little Mermaid 2. The prequel, however, conflicts on a few points with the animated series, which has been accepted by Disney as cannon. Some examples include that Triton's hair was red when he was younger in the animated series and brown in the movie. Also, Flounder and Ariel's meeting for the first time was changed. In the series, they ran into each other when she was about 6 or 7. He was being bullied and she wanted a friend so they started hanging out. In the movie, Ariel was in trouble and doing her punishment when Flounder ran away from guards because he was making music (which is now illegal). Ariel covered for him and they became friends.
For the most part, Disney makes their female princesses and heroines sopranos, their female villians altos. Best example in one movie is Ariel and Ursula in The Little Mermaid. However, some of the songs do not go real high, so some altos may be able to sing them without a problem. Also some of their much newer movies Disney has started to break their tradition. Tatiana (The Princess and the Frog) sings in a predominately alto range. Some Princess songs that may be good in no particular order include: Almost There (The Princess and the Frog) Part of Your World (The Little Mermaid) Just Around the River Bend (Pochahontas) When Will My Life Begin (Tangled)
well sort of it depends on which mersister you are. if your Alana then yes because you speak but if your Arista then not really. the mersisters sing two songs and some of the mersisters have lines. the songs are She's in love and Daughters of triton.
Perhaps the Little Mermaid could make some poignant reflection that if humans lived as long as Merfolk they would be able to start caring about the Oceans they have ruined with pollution .

No, it has nothing to do with mythology, some people think that it is mythology because king neptune is in it.
Little Mermaid has some nice songs and I am a guy, you can also try searching for Godspell songs, those are fun to sing. 101 Dalmatians might have something nice. And if you want you can try looking up- Glee.

Well depending on the type of musical it is. If its a movie like "The Little Mermaid" then start singing songs from the movie or and Disney song that you can try out for. If its a play like "The Sound of Music" try singing some of those songs. You may even want to watch the movie if has one or even read the book if has one! Here is another tip, if you know your voice range, sing something in that range.
