Carnival Cruise Lines: The Fun, Family Ships?
Carnival Cruise Lines is one of many choices for your next vacation. Of all the cruise lines it hosts the largest fleet of ships, numbering at twenty-three with the newest M/S Carnival Dream and the M/S Carnival Magic coming out soon. With all of this experience you can expect them to know what they’re doing, and offer a hassle-free relaxing vacation. Carnival is well-known for being family-friendly. Children aged 2-11 are welcome to join Camp Carnival, a free service offering activities for the children every day. They are separated into three age groups within Camp Carnival, and each group will have their own activity schedule that’s just for kids. There are less-frequent babysitting services for children aged 0-2, and those do cost. For teenagers, every ship has a Circle C and Club O2, for ages 12-14 and 15-17 respectively. These clubs are similar to one another, in that each will offer activities during the day such as scavenger hunts, pizza parties, and video games while at night they tend to turn into dance clubs just for their age group. Every ship has activities going on all day for guests of any age on top of it all. An entertainment staff runs activities, and live music is almost always going on somewhere. There’s pools, hot tubs, and a gym all available free of charge. A show lounge on every ship offers variety acts or review shows, and even comedy shows. Adult-only (18+) activities include an adult dance club, a casino, and adult-only comedy shows. The drinking age is 21, but there are a lot of bars on board as well. When it comes to food, every ship has a lido buffet open at certain times of the day, and an option to eat in a dining room for a fancier option at night. For fast on-the-go food a pizzeria is open twenty-four hours of the day. Certain larger ships even host a steakhouse, which for a price offers the best dining you’ll find on your vacation. Carnival is a great company to go with for any type of traveler, and is able to offer a lot on a relatively small budget.

How to Find the Perfect Alaska Cruise?
Dreaming of going on an Alaskan cruise, but don’t know where to start? The Internet is a great place to research amenities and ports of call for various cruise lines and also to read reviews of different cruises. Alaskan cruises run only from May to September of each year because it’s too cold to travel in the other months. July and August are the warmest months, but also the most in-demand time, which means the cost is the highest. If you’re looking for the least expensive options, look for departures in May and September.
