Most practicing therapist must be licensed. Which type of education and license depends on which type of therapist, There are speech-language therapists, psychotherapists, physical therapists, occupational therapists, massage therapists, etc.

Depends. You can do basic massaging as an esthetician. But to to do massaging in a medical spa or something similar you have to be a registered massage therapist, which means going to school for the qualifications. It's not doing an apprenticeship to get your license.

Yes if you want to practice you must be licensed, espcially if you are going to work for a compnay. If you work in a private business for yourself you don't need it.
