What systems work with the lymphatic system?
The lymphatic system works closely with the digestive system and the circulatory system. These systems cannot work without the help of the lymphatic system.
The lymphatic system is so important because if your lymphatic system does not work then that is where all of the bacteria comes out from. if your lymphatic system does not work then your lymph nodes will not work then that is where the bacteria is suppose to be taken out but if it is not there then you will have germs in your body that is why your lymphatic system is so important.
The lymphatic system works with the cardiovascular system because the lymphatic system carries lymph into large vessels, skeletal muscles then squeeze these vessels to force the lymph through the lymphatic system valves inside the lymphatic vessels stop back-flow. Then the lymph drains into the large neck veins of the cardiovascular system.
Several body systems work with the Circulatory system, since blood is the conveyor of oxygen and nutrients for tissue and cell nourishment, and also the transporter of waste products for elimination. So, this would involve the Respiratory, Digestive, and Urinary systems directly. As well, the Endocrine system (various glands which secrete hormones) and the Lymphatic system (Immune system) are involved.
The cardiovascular system connects with the lymphatic system. The right lymphatic duct and the thoracic duct connect, or drain, to the left and right subclavian veins. But, in actuality, if you consider that it brings blood to most all the tissues in the body, it actually connects to all the systems.
When the lymphatic system does not work correctly, the body's immune response is suppressed. The lymphatic system is responsible for helping to clear the body of toxins and diseases. The lymphatic system is also responsible for cleaning the interstitial fluid, which is the fluid that surrounds all the cells in the body. When the lymphatic system does not function as it should, this fluid is not cleaned properly and bacteria and other infectious agents can…
