Absolute zero is the coldest temperature possible - when atoms are at the lowest possible temperature level. For example, molecular movement stops (as far as quantum law allows - it seems there is a minimum energy level, where the energy is not exactly zero).

This temperature is zero Kelvin, or minus 273.16 degrees on the Centigrade/Celsius scale.
