Yes they can. If it gets to hot the crab can get dried out. Usually water is the mostly makes the crab live. It can evaporate when it gets too hot and the crab will die. After all, you don't see hermit crabs in the desert.
It does not really matter how warm or cold it is. So what ever temp it already is.
The temp for a hermie is between 70 and 80. the humidity level is also between 70 and 80.
no because they could be land hermit crab and die
It's term 'hermit' is not because it doesn't like other hermit crabs. The hermit crab actually loves being with other hermits. It is called hermit crab because it is only one hermit crab in the shell. It's term 'hermit' is not because it doesn't like other hermit crabs. A hermit crab usually eats when it is dark or moist. the humider the environment the more it will eat.
they eat
They cannot live with a land hermit crab because land hermit crabs live out of water so the fish would die (as you know) if it is out of water.
a hermit crab
They livde to gether because the shell is a home for the hermit crab!
if a hermit crab could run 1km/hr he would run 1km in an hour
What is a Hermit Crab's predator?
no because you don't know what the lizard can do to a hermit crab?
If it is a hermit crab, then it is like any other hermit crab, so just take care of it as you would to a regular hermit crab :)
The reason your hermit crab is staying in its shell is because... 1. When it sees you it will quickly go into its shell for protection. 2. They like to come out at night more then the day. 3. It is in the wrong environment. 4. It will only come out if there is food or water.
