What three substances make fioricet?
Fioricet and Esgic are brand name drugs made from a combination of acetaminophen (325 mg), butalbital (a barbiturate, 50 mg), and caffeine (40 mg). They are usually used to treat tension headaches and migraine headaches, but are also indicated for other types of pain, such as shoulder and upper back pain.
yes Fioricet contains opiates and acetaminophen which will sedate you. you may have to take at least 20 to feel anything. Just a little FYI.... Fioricet is a barbiturate not an opiate. There is a difference between barbiturates and opiates. Also if you take 20 you probably won't be coherent or alive to feel it anyway. I have taken three Fioricet and felt pretty weird. I don't think it's the kind of drug you want…
yes; i take them together for my migraines. my doctor said it was okay because the painkiller in fioricet and the anti-inflammitory painkiller in Advil(ibuprofen) are different. although you can't mix many drugs with fioricet due to the depressant side effects it contains. it is safe to take fioricet and advil together.
the painkilling ingredient in Fioricet is acetaminophen; Ibuprofen is an anti-inflammatory drug that reduces hormones within the body that cause inflammation and pain. Ibuprofen does not interact negatively with the painkiller in Fioricet. Therefore; it is safe to take ibuprofen and Fioricet at the same time as long as you stay within the recommended dosage for each.
