6:00 for school days if in middle school. 7:30 for school days if in elementary. 9:00 for weekends. You have to make sure that they are refreshed though, because he might wake up that time and not be ready. If that, change what time he should sleep and adjust until he/she is comfortable everyday.

The society however puts demand on people so that they go to work etc.
This in hand transfer the "getting up" bit to children who need to be in kindergarten etc.
When kids start at school, they too have responsibilities and need to get up in time for school.
It is in fact a created situation because we normally wouldn't get up at a set time if it wasnt for the commitments in the societies.
In the early years we got up when it started to get light, because there were nothing to do in the dark.
I suppose we are better off All in all by following school and do mainly as the societies demand.
Kids should get up in time for breakfast and then school.
If being tired, then earlier to bed.
