Call 1-800-222-1222 and they will put you in touch with the Poison Control Center in your state. It is a good idea to memorize this number.

If it is an extreme emergency, just dial 911.

When you accidentally inhaled the chemical, then first of all get away from area of exposure.

Go for decontamination, remove your clothes and take shower. After taking shower, drink plenty of Water and Milk.

This will give you some relief. After completing your first aid process, Quickly contact your area's poison control center and Doctor for help.

Exhale and don't do it again. Bleach is usually Calcium Hypchlorite and water (usually 5% solution), like the brand Clorox. What you will inhale is a mild chlorine gas that liquid bleach gives off. It will convert to hydrochloric acid and irritate throat and nose. You'll get a sore throat. I would drink some water. This will dilute it and send it to the stomach where it proably will combine with something quickly and be harmless. I have never heard of anyone being concerned about inhaling liquid bleach. It is not very volatile and shouldn't be enough of a problem to be concerned with unless you do it for a long period of time. I have personally inhaled the gas from bleach tablets used in a swimming pool which is much more concentrated and a bigger problem. If you are force to inhale it very long, I would go to a hospital. If you got just a wiff, you'll get over it.

Seek medical attention ASAP. While not always apparent, damage can continue after the fact and cause problems long term.

If you had a chemical inhalation immediately leave the contaminated area and call the local emergency number. Chemical inhalation can lead to a breathing emergency.
