It's very important each of us (including your best friend) takes responsibility for their own actions; learns from the mistake they made hurting their best friend and apologize and express why they did what they did. Confront your best friend and if they refuse to talk about it or show no sign of remorse for what they did then they are not a good friend to hang out with. There are many people you will come into contact with throughout your life so choose your friends as wisely as you can and you may be lucky to have two best friends you can trust. You will know in time how to choose a trustworthy friend.

∙ 11y agoAsk him or her why they had talked about you in the first place. Dont be afraid to confront them. Ask them "if we are best friends, why would you do this to me?" If they admit to it without feeling sorry, then obviously they arent worth your time. Find other friends that will stay true and honest. But if your friend is truly and sincerely sorry, maybe you should be the bigger person and accept the apology. Just be careful that it doesnt happen again. Because it just might..
