well when i was caught i did these 4 things, i was not arrested all he did is take down my name and said the juvy courts will look over my priors and decide what they will do if anything.
1. Definitely dont lie. If you are getting stopped by the police its because they have probable cause and most likely smelled it on you or your belongings.
2. Dont run. if you run that automatically tells the police that you are guilty of something. you never know they could just be stopping you to ask if you seen something or saw something, they could have no idea that you were smoking or had marijuana on you. but if you run you just give yourself away
3. Stay calm. dont over react to what they say or do. do your best not to seem like a danger to anyone and they wont treat you as such.
4. Treat the cop like your king or queen. say yes sir, yes ma'am. when you treat a cop with the up most respect they have a better chance of giving you a break. if you over react to what they say or get mad at something they have the right and opportunity to punish you.
follow those steps and you will have the possibility of not getting in trouble at all. when my mom came to get us, he told my mom that we were very polite and courteous, which in this world will go along way.
Don't take it outside of your house in the first place. If you have to smoke some weed and your parents are home go back into the bushes or somthing. Once you leave your property the protective vail is no longer over you. If you are smoking weed in your backyard the cops can't touch you, but once you leave you are unfourtantly fair game. No asking the police officer to join you for Bong Hits. He will most likely say no.

If you are in a dangerous urban area, chances are that the cops have more important things to deal with and will probably just confiscate it and yell at you.
Or if in a suburban residential area where the cops have a quota, out of experience, they will arrest you, confiscate the material, and you will be put in jail until court date or until bonded out.
