The thing you HAVE to wear when playing airsoft is eye wear. Do not buy cheap eye wear since most high grade AEG's can penetrate it. You can choose to wear think clothing or you can purchase vest and other essentials at an airsoft store. Hey do airsoft guns hurt? Yes they hurt very bad! If you are playing with your friends you might get little welts but when you play with serious players they have airsoft guns that reach up to 500 fps which is almost half the speed of a real bullet. This can make you bleed and if your not wearing eye protection your eye is probably gone for sure. Even if the gun is 100 fps you eye could be wiped out. ---------- ok,ok...so you need eye protection, but really? that is just the begging. Depending on what type of airsoft you are playing, wether it be "paint soft" or "milsim". if its just "paint soft," then wear goggles, and what ever you want to wear. If its "milsim," normally camoflauge and military gear is absolutely required because we are re-enacting scenarios. Plus most milsim games are capped at 460 fps max... pick up games or "paint soft" games, can range from 280-650 fps depending on location and guns.

∙ 14y agoWear something that covers all of your skin, it hurts when you get shot. If you are taking it seriously and are going to be in the woods or other designated scenarion, think about camouflage and wear something similar to your surroundings. If you are goofing around in a yard with your buddies and will be able to see everyone, don't worry about blening in.

∙ 11y agoIt will pretty much always hurt a little bit, but a full head paitball mask will prevent pain on your head, a plate carrier (basically tactical vests that hold "armor" plates in them to protect against bb's) will protect against pain on your chest and back, and armored gloves will protect your knuckles and hand. Other than that, just many layers of cloths although that will be quite sweaty and uncomfortable. I would say just deal with the pain on your arms and legs, just don't show any bear skin.

∙ 11y agoThat depends. If you are just plinking around the only thing you must have is eye protection. If you at a friendly match a good set of camo BDUs would be just fine because of there abundance of pockets (make sure to pick a camo that blends in with your environment) and of course eye protection. At larger events or skirmishes a MOLLE vest or chest rig is nice to have because you can customize it to suit your needs for that specific match without having to buy a new vest. Also in any match full face protection is good to have, i would personally avoid paintball style masks as they tent to fog and opt instead for something with mesh.

A pump airsoft gun is a gun that has to be pumped every time before shooting. Ex. Airsoft shotgun
all Nerf guns are awful airsoft and rubber band guns rule they have ten times the ammo capacity and are way more fun. just shooting a tin can is super fun and they are two hundred times more accurate so ask your parents for an airsoft gun or my favorite a rubber band gun and remember band guns are harmless and more fun than Nerf. be cautous with airsoft and WEAR gogles while shooting an airsoft or BB gun
out? probably 2% with goggles 0%
In general, no. This is what they were designed to do.
Yes, and it is highly recommended to wear airsoft glasses or a paintball mask whilst using airsoft equipment.
Assault and battery would be the basic charges.
only if you are walking around in public shooting stuff
in your own back yard, airsoft guns are legal on your own property to shoot, as long as your not shooting someone else who doesnt want to. its perfectly legal to shoot and use any airsoft gun no your own property.
dont they will wear away the gears and will jam your gun
